According to a new survey, cocaine use is dramatically increasing among youngsters Down Under.

The research carried out in Melbourne found that taking cocaine was considered normal among people aged 18 to 35.

More than half of the 120 people surveyed admitted to using the drug.

Moreover, though some said they that did not use the drug, 71 per cent of them knew where they could buy it.

A city worker, on request of anonymity, said the drug was easy to find in Melbourne.

"The culture has changed. There is more of it on offer," News.com.au quoted the 25-year-old, who took cocaine regularly, as saying.

According to 19-year-old Aron, cocaine was now considered a party drug.
