Troubled pop star Britney Spears shaved her head because she was scared traces of drugs would be found in her hair.
A friend of Spears said the singer pleaded with her mom to go and retrieve the clippings from the salon after she returned, mirror.co.uk reported.The friend said: "Kevin Federline (Spears' estranged husband) taunted her that even his smoking marijuana near her would leave traces that could be picked up by drug testing. He threatened to use that against her in a custody battle."
Federline is fighting for sole custody of their sons and Spears is very upset by this.
"Everyone focuses on her partying but she's a young mother who doesn't know how to deal with this," added another friend.
