While many couples would say that having a baby have brought them together, model Myleene Klass thinks that it's not so, at least initially.

In a recent interview, the Marks and Spencer's model admitted that bringing up baby still isn't a bed of roses.

Klass, who had her a baby girl with partner long-time partner Graham "Gray" Quinn, said: "I'm not going to sugarcoat it, everyone says 'Oh, our baby brought us closer together', but it didn't bring us closer together initially. It made me think 'Oh God, what have we done!'"

"Then you come through it and realise sleep deprivation plays a big part and this is a new person who can't tell you what they want. The responsibility is huge," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

"All the celebs who say 'My life is perfect', it's not normal, it just puts pressure on other mothers. I'm not saying I can't cope, just that it's a bloody hard job.

"Whatever happens, I'm up at 7am every day," she added.

Klass, who has said she wanted to murder Gray, 34, after Ava's birth, adds: "We're really good now but we're not back to normal. We have a new normality."

"If he snaps, I think, 'He's tired, let it go', whereas before I'd say 'How dare you, don't you think I'm tired too?' and it would go on and on.

"It's not perfect, but what is? It's just normal," she added.
