 An Injection can Cure Blindness
British scientists claim to have developed a new injection which could possibly cure blindness. This steroid implant releases an anti-inflammatory drug near the retina to help stop the onset of blindness and also restore loss of vision.
The treatment can be used to prevent sudden loss of sight caused by blockage of veins at the back of the eye. However, it could also be used to prevent many other causes of blindness like diabetes and age related macular degeneration. The treatment costs about 2,000pounds.

This is the first safe and effective treatment for people with inflammation at the rear of the eye.
