A new study carried out in Britain has revealed that the typical working hours of an employee has increased by almost an hour

The study also found that more than 20 percent of the employees have their breakfast in front of their desk while more than 15 percent manage to keep working even when having their lunch.
“Overtime has become part of our daily routine and working through breaks is commonplace so by the time we've travelled home and sat down we're exhausted. Due to the time we start thinking about work and when we finally switch off our Blackberry, we're spending almost 12 hours a day in 'work mode'”, Merchant Gourmet ‘s Clive Moxham said.
