 4000 Eco-Friendly Paper Bags Get Trichy Students into Limca Book of Records

Media reports indicate that students in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, have entered the Limca Book of Records by preparing 4000 eco-friendly paper bags.

About 4600 students took part in the feat and participated in a rally to sensitise people about the advantages of pursuing an eco-friendly way of life.

Nanthini, a student, said: "We are gathered here to create the Limca record and we have created 4000 paper bags just to (make) aware the people about the illness of plastics. We made these because to create a Limca record and now we are going to conduct a rally about this thing and this is to (make) aware people to use paper bags instead of plastic bags."

Sabrina, another student, said: "Today, we participated in this occasion, they are eco-friendly bags, we are trying to make the world very eco-friendly because our world is going very artificially and the plastics bags are destroying the world, so what I think that paper bags will make the earth to become eco-friendly."
