20minutes Exercise a Day Keeps Illness Away

People who exercise regularly for at least 20 minutes, 5 days a week were 40% less likely to fall sick than those who exercised for one day or less, was published in 'The British Journal of Sports Medicine'. The exact reason for this is still unknown. A similar study with similar results was conducted by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle.

Yoga can go a great way in reaping these benefits. Yoga helps to manage stress, improves strength, posture, flexibility, concentration, heart and lung health, thereby improving the immunity.

Alternating days of yoga and cardio can also be helpful.
