A 'Public Health Responsibility Deal' has been signed between the Government and 150 firms to encourage responsible drinking, eating and a healthy lifestyle.

However, citing concerns whether the agreement will have any impact the British Medical Association (BMA), the Royal College of Physicians (RCP), Alcohol Concern, British Liver Trust, British Association for the Study of the Liver and the Institute for Alcohol Studies are pulling out of the agreement.
