Storyline : It's a story of two women named Nandini and Devaki. Nandini is city bred while Devaki is a village girl. Nandini joins an NGO and goes to a village where she bonds with Devaki instantaneously. She serves the village but couldn't stop Devaki's marriage to an elderly impotent man. Dejected she returns to the city where her mentally ill mother and her boyfriend await her. Here she faces humiliation at the hands of her own father.
