About our Hospital	MITRA is the psychiatric hospital of Abhaya treating mental illness, alcoholism and substance dependency. This unit is supported by the trained personnels consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, social workers and nurses. Apart from most modern drug therapies MITRA offers ECT, behavioural therapy, individual, group, family, and marital counseling, intelligence and personality assessment etc. Both inpatient and outpatient treatment are available. MITRA is the only paid centre of Abhaya, the proceeds of which support the other centres of Abhaya
