Daclizumab is a monoclonal antibody indicated for treating adults with recurrent multiple sclerosis. It is also used to prevent organ rejection after transplantation.
How does Daclizumab work?
Daclizumab acts by blocking certain receptors present on T-cells. The net result is reduction of T-cell responses.T-cells are a kind of lymphocytes which help to maintain immunity in our body.
