Cyclophosphamide is prescribed to treat various types of cancers like lymphomas (cancer involving immune cells called lymphocytes),multiple myeloma (cancer involving the bone marrow), retinoblastoma (cancer in the eye), neuroblastoma (cancer involving nerve cells), ovarian cancer, breast cancer and cancer of blood cells or leukemia.
It is also used to treat a kidney disease called nephrotic syndrome that is resistant to the treatment.
