Heart Attack

In India, heart disease is the single largest cause of death in the country with heart attacks being responsible for one third of all deaths caused by heart diseases. A heart attack is found to occur when the blood supply to part of the heart muscle is severely reduced or in some cases stopped. This generally happens when one or more of the coronary arteries, which supply blood to the heart muscle, are blocked. As a result of which a buildup of a fat like substance called plaque can eventually tear or rupture the arteries.

Obesity

Obesity and over weight on many occasions are confused for one another. However these are two extremely different yet serious health problems, which are being associated with not only the old but also the younger generation. An over weight person does not necessarily always mean over fat. The weight of an individuals is calculated taking into consideration the height of the individual and their body weight which is calculated from adding the weight of muscles, bones, fat, and body water. An obese person however tend to have an extremely large amount of extra body fast around their body making them overweight by 20 to 30 % their normal body weight.
