World Alzheimer's Day 2011- "Faces of Dementia"

In remembrance of the victims of dementia world over, particularly Alzheimer’s, which is the most common form of dementia, and taking their cause forward to alleviate their plight as well as that of their families and caregivers, September 21st, 2011 is dedicated as World Alzheimer’s day. Often, many of the tell-tale signs of dementia are dismissed as signs of ageing. Diagnosing the disease late only compounds the problem for the victims as well as for their caregivers.
