Botox - Conclusion

Botox - Conclusion

Botox injections have been widely acclaimed for their short-term, anti-ageing properties. The procedure has gained popularity as it is non-invasive, leaves no scars and the recovery period is low . Several medical disorders are also being treated with the help of Botox.

However it should be remembered that Botox is an addiction- inducing substance and its patrons may become heavily dependant on the drug to look young and 'feel good'.

Moderation, as they say, holds the key. After all, as Voltaire said “Beauty pleases the eyes only, sweetness of disposition charms the soul”.

THE SCIENCE POSTED HERE IS WRONG: the botulinum toxin cleaves the SNARE complex and allows for the vesicle containing the neurotransmitter ACh to be unable to diffuse through Ca2+ cannels. when the SNARE complex is cleved the vesicle cannot bind to the SNAP-25 and thus ACh cannot be released and the muscle cannot react to the signal from the nerve.

Botox can be used for enlarged prostate glands; for especially those who are high risk for surgery.
