GERD: Gastrointestinal reflux disease where the acid rises from the stomach to the throat causing irritation to the vocal cords.Multiple sclerosis: Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks the protective myelin sheath of the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves.
