Treatment arising from or traceable to pregnancy (including voluntary termination of pregnancy) and childbirth (including caesarian section)
Expenses pertaining to pregnancy are not reimbursable by Insurance. Abortion (including voluntary abortion) and termination of pregnancy related expenses are not payable by Insurance.
Only under certain corporate policies, pregnancy is payable, subject to certain conditions that differ in terms and conditions based on the corporate. Abortion under no circumstances is payable by Insurance.
Break in Policy Cover - Suppose if the customer is holding a policy with the same or some other insurance company for many years and does not renew a policy due to some unforeseen circumstances such as oversight. After a gap if the customer renews the policy and avails of the insurance product from the same company or some other Insurance company then this break in the policy will mean the new policy is treated as a fresh policy. In these circumstances if the policyholder wishes to make a claim he loses all the previous benefits.
