Antimycotic agents: are classes of antimicrobial polyene compounds which target fungal infections.Candidiasis: is an infection of the skin caused by the candida fungus.
Corticosteroid: a steroid hormone produced by the adrenal cortex. In its synthetic form, this is used as a drug to suppress the body’s immune system.
Hydrocortisone: adrenal cortex hormone active in carbohydrate and protein metabolism.
pH: is a measure on a scale from 0 to 14 indicating the acidity or alkalinity of a solution where 7 is neutral and more than 7 is more acidic and less than 7 is more alkaline.
Pruritus: medical/scientific term for itching sensation in the skin.
