Aspiration: A condition in which food, liquids, saliva or vomit is inhaled into the respiratory tract.Barrett’s Esophagus: Damage to the lower portion of the esophagus.
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): A digestive disease in which stomach acid or bile goes backwards into the food pipe and causes irritation.
Pneumonia: Infection that causes inflammation of the air sacs in one or both lungs, which may become filled with fluid.
