World Sight Day

We need vision for nearly all our activities. And yet, we often take it for granted, and do not give our eyes the care they need. The World Sight Day is celebrated on the second Thursday of October every year to increase awareness about vision impairment and blindness. The day falls on the 12th October this year. It is coordinated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) with support from institutions all over the world.
