World Heart Day is celebrated on 29th September each year. Created by the World Heart Federation, World Heart Day highlights the action needed to prevent cardiovascular diseases and bring down the mortality rate. The growing number of death due to heart diseases, nearly 17.5 million can be reduced and prevented. World Heart Day aims to drive action to educate people that by controlling risk factors which involve our daily habits can reduce premature deaths.
