Coffee is known for its antioxidant property and an extra cup of coffee everyday can reduce the risk of liver cancer by a third. According to a meta-analysis of 18 cohort studies, involving 2,272,642 participants and 2905 cases, and 8 case control studies, involving 1825 cases and 4652 controls, increasing coffee consumption by two cups per day was associated with a 35% reduction in the risk of hepatocellular cancer (HCC).
