Ultrasound of Shoulder Muscle Can Warn of Diabetes
A shoulder muscle (deltoid) that looks increasingly bright on ultrasound may be a predictor of diabetes. Hence, a shoulder ultrasound may help identify persons who are having diabetes or prediabetes so that appropriate interventions can be initiated early to avoid complications later.
