Tuberculosis Treatment Time Could Be Lessened by Higher Doses of Rifampin
Tuberculosis (TB) treatment regime consists of taking a minimum of four pills for around six months to get cured of the disease. Rifampin is usually given along with three other drugs for around six months in TB therapy. Higher doses of the drug rifampin may lead to faster elimination of tuberculosis (TB) bacteria.
