Triple Immunotherapy for Merkel Cell Carcinoma

An experimental combination of three different therapies for the rare skin cancer known as Merkel cell carcinoma helps three out of four patients for complete remission following the treatment. Fred Hutch immunotherapy researcher Dr. Kelly Paulson used a combination of T-cell therapy, immunotherapy drug and radiation and tested its effect on patients with Merkel cell carcinoma.
