Blood Test to Detect Cancer

A simple blood test may help doctors to detect and monitor a patient''s cancer, thereby eliminating the need for more invasive procedures, finds a research study from Purdue University. The research team with W.Andy Tao, a professor of biochemistry and member of the Purdue University Center for Cancer Research, identified a series of proteins in the blood plasma.
