Two Risk Genes for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

Two new genetic risks that are associated with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) have been identified in the largest analysis to date of gene data. ALS is a muscle-crippling neurodegenerative disease, which has affected late astrophysicist Stephen Hawking and a Yankee baseball slugger Lou Gehrig.
