Benefits of Omega-3 Fatty Acids to Lower Risk of Death View in Hindi

The higher levels of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) in the red blood cells were associated with a lower risk of all-cause mortality in postmenopausal women, finds a new study. Postmenopausal women with the highest levels of omega-3 fatty acids in the blood are 20% less likely to die from any cause.
