How to Detect Hidden Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is capable of causing infections that could result in AIDS. The virus is capable of lying dormant in immune cells at levels that are undetectable. In order to determine if someone is cured of HIV, a research team from the University of Pittsburgh School of the Health Sciences has created a test that could detect the "hidden" HIV.
