International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression

The International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression is observed every year on 4th June. The day aims to create awareness on the impact of abuse against children and seeks to protect the rights of children. On 19th August, 1982, the United Nations declared 4th June as the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression after having been "appalled at the high number of Palestinian and Lebanese children victims of Israel's acts of aggression."
