Food Allergy in Children Responsible for Childhood Anxiety

Food allergies are increasingly common among youth in the U.S. with recent estimates as high as 8 percent. Until now little was known about the prevalence of food allergy in low socioeconomic ethnic minority populations. Some amount of anxiety is normal and helps in efficient functioning. Normal state of anxiety becomes a disease, since the symptoms interfere with day-to-day life and activities.
