Choline Consumption During Pregnancy Boosts Baby's IQ
Choline is an important nutrient that plays a key role in reducing inflammation in asthma, but, the current study focused on the role of choline in prenatal brain development. Pregnant women should consume foods that are rich in choline as it helps improve cognitive function in babies, according to a study conducted by a research team at the Cornell University. Babies of pregnant women who consumed twice the currently recommended amount of choline during the last trimester showed better cognitive outcomes.
