Combination of aspirin an antiplatelet drug and rivaroxaban an anticoagulant shown to be beneficial in stroke and heart attack prevention in persons with stable cardiovascular disease, according to a recent study dubbed the Cardiovascular OutcoMes for People Using Anticoagulation StrategieS (COMPASS), led by the Population Health Research Institute (PHRI) of McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) in Hamilton, Canada.
