Mondelez Canada is Donating over $1M to Community Organizations and Frontline Health Care Workers

TORONTO, April 9, 2020 /CNW/ - Mondelez Canada today announced it is donating over $1 million worth of financial and in-kind support to frontline health care workers and community partners advancing emergency relief and critical food stability efforts in Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes support for Food Banks Canada, Moisson Montréal, Second Harvest, The Good Shepherd and Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada.

This weekend, Mondelez Canada is contributing more than 4,000 Easter treats, including OREO Eggs, CADBURY CREME EGGs, and CADBURY DAIRY MILK Bunnies, specifically to frontline healthcare workers in Toronto, providing some Easter cheer as a show of appreciation on behalf of Canadians everywhere for their important service to the community.

We are committing over $1 million in cash and in-kind donations, that includes a thank you to frontline health care workers in the GTA and support to further the impactful work of local community partners across Canada who are providing food security and assistance to the people who need it most." said Martin Parent, President, Mondelez Canada.
