PHILADELPHIA, April 14 eResearchTechnology, Inc.(eRT), (Nasdaq: ERES), and nSpire Health, Inc. announced today their allianceto provide integrated Cardiac Safety and Pulmonary Core Lab Services toclinical researchers worldwide.

eResearchTechnology is a leading provider of centralizedelectrocardiographic (ECG), eClinical technology, ePRO, and other services tothe pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and related industries.nSpire Health is a leading provider of respiratory clinical trials services,including Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, High Definition PulmonaryDiagnostics Systems, Spirometry, and Home Monitoring.

Under the agreement, eRT and nSpire will deliver a combined solution tomeet the increased demand for cardio-pulmonary safety and efficacy servicesduring clinical trials, in part caused by an increased interest in usinginhaled therapeutics. The partnership will offer integrated services fromproject planning and set-up through study conduct, management, and datadelivery for primary and secondary Cardiac and Respiratory clinical trialendpoints. nSpire Health will provide eSP(TM) Core Lab Data Managementsoftware, QA services, HDpft(TM), KoKo(R), PiKo(R), and PiKoLogic(TM)(electronic Diary) respiratory diagnostic measuring instruments. eRT willperform digital collection, measurement, interpretation, review, anddistribution of cardiac safety data through its EXPeRT 2.0 workflow-enableddata management system.
