Regina Trainor joins the firm from NYU Langone Health, where she served as Vice President for Ambulatory Network Strategy and Associate General Counsel of one of the nation's premier academic medical centers devoted to patient care, education, and research. Regina also previously served in a leadership role at the Catholic Medical Centers of Brooklyn and Queens, one of the first multi-hospital systems in New York, where she led the team that created Fidelis Care New York (Fidelis), New York's first Medicaid managed care program, and served as its Chief Legal Officer/Corporate Compliance Officer for Fidelis. In her subsequent positions at Northwell Health and NYU, Regina innovated a model bundled payment program, developed system-wide clinical care initiatives, and facilitated receipt of a multi-million dollar federal grant to support physician quality improvement, cost reduction efforts in outpatient care settings. In her roles, Regina has worked extensively on healthcare operational issues, detection and response to provider fraud and abuse, physician practice acquisitions, and cutting-edge healthcare and life sciences initiatives and business ventures. Christine Parkins Johnson joins Nelson Hardiman from the global firm of McDermott Will & Emery, where she counseled healthcare organizations on complex regulatory compliance and transactional issues. Jonathan Stieglitz brings to Nelson Hardiman his practice focusing on recovering under-or unreimbursed medical claims, representing parties including hospital systems, surgery centers, physicians and related healthcare practitioners and facilities.
