Widener University Delaware Law School and First Healthcare Compliance to co-host HIPAA Privacy and Security Summit Providing Resources and Learning Credits to Healthcare, Business, and Legal Professionals

WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 24, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The HIPAA Privacy and Security Summit will bring professionals

from the healthcare and legal communities together for a day of discussion and learning on the campus of Delaware Law School. Thought leaders will present time-sensitive topics centered around important HIPAA related issues facing professionals today. Eight experts will provide instruction and lead discussions to cover recent cases and updates to regulations.

The one- day learning event is a joint effort to provide resources and help professionals overcome the challenges of the ever-changing healthcare compliance landscape. Pam Beech, Director of Graduate and Compliance Programs at Delaware Law School states, "HIPAA is a constant concern for professionals from various backgrounds." Multiple learning credits may be earned while networking with industry peers. Attendees are eligible to receive 7.5 CLE credits (6.5 substantive, 1 ethics) in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The event is approved for 7.5 Continuing Education Unit(s) by PAHCOM and Practice Management Institute. The Compliance Certification Board (CCB) has approved this event for up 10.2 live CCB CEUs.
