White House Service Award Honoree Women of Global Change Presents Over $40,000+ To Children and Families in Need this Holiday Season

The Women of Global Change will be presenting over $40,000 in sponsor funding this week for those in need this holiday season. WGC announced some of their sponsor donation recipients and the WGC social impact projects of the season.

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif., Dec. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Women of Global Change will be presenting over $40,000 in sponsor funding this week for children and families in need. The WGCF sponsor donation recipients and WGC social impact projects for this Holiday Season are Grammas House of Hope, who are recipients of $15K, which serves the homeless and children in Santa Ana, CA. WGC Las Vegas is supporting the Embracing Project by currently refurbishing housing for sex trafficking recovery placement and are receiving the WGC Sponsor of an additional $10k in funding. WGC Vancouver Chapter provided gifts, blankets, socks, family food baskets, and supplies to Kiwassa House, which serves 80 Eastside homeless Children and families. Additionally the LVMPD Santa Cops Program is being presented with a 10k sponsor check for Child Haven to bring Christmas to those kids who may not otherwise have one.

The Women of Global Change (WGC) is an international non-profit decorated with four consecutive White House awards and commendations from the United States Senate for their work to better the lives of women, children, and families at home and abroad. Their projects have ranged from their creation of an infant treatment center in Honduras to the refurbishing of safe houses for sex trafficking victims in Atlanta, Las Vegas, and more. The WGC has local community impact chapters that support and provides educational/business platforms and local community social impact activism.
