WebMD Launches Free Mobile Application For Physicians

NEW YORK, July 21 WebMD Health Corp. (Nasdaq: WBMD), the leading source of health information, today announced the launch of Medscape Mobile, a free medical application for physicians. Medscape Mobile provides physicians with Medscape's industry-leading medical information in a convenient mobile format that can be accessed on demand on the iPhone(TM) and iPod touch(R).

Medscape Mobile includes the most comprehensive drug information, clinical reference tools, medical news and continuing medical education (CME). It is the only mobile application to include specialty-specific news from Medscape's award-winning professional news team. Medscape Mobile also includes CME activities organized by specialty and designed for use on a mobile device.
