PEKIN, Ill., Nov. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp™) Foundation will hold its 33rd annual Symposium at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort during February 7 – 10, 2019. Set on the warm desert sands overlooking the Santa Rosa Mountains, the host location offers Symposium attendees the opportunity to experience the desert climate at one of the premier resort locations in the world.

Symposium goers also will choose from an extensive selection of multi-disciplined, treatment-focused workshops to match their learning needs to the daily challenges of working with eating disorders patients. With seven prominent keynote speakers, preconference sessions and excellent networking opportunities with peers, attendees can achieve key professional objectives in a location where bad weather and frigid temps become a distant memory.

Early registration is open through December 10, 2018. Registration discounts include: for iaedp™ certified members, $625; for members, $675; for non-iaedp™ members, $750; for full-time students, $375; for retired registrants, $375; and for international registrants, $375. Discount rates for groups and one-day registrations also are available. Beginning December 11, 2018, all costs increase by $50.

Nearly 30 hours of continuing treatment education will take place in the hotel's meeting space, from the informative presentations to the exclusive networking opportunities. Attendees also can choose to extend their time at the conference by signing up for preconference sessions, and experience the inspirational mannequin art competition when winners are announced during the Symposium activities.
