DANBURY, Conn., July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- To further its support of cities which have suffered tremendously from the destructive effects of the opioid epidemic, the Firm has agreed to donate $20,000 to the Western Connecticut Health Network for the specific purpose of purchasing Naloxone (Narcan), and supporting the personnel who assist those who have overdosed from opioids in the cities of Danbury and Norwalk. Narcan is a life-saving drug which, when administered during an opioid overdose, can combat the effects of opioids on the brain and bring a person back to life.
The funds donated by Ventura Law to the Western Connecticut Health Network will provide urgently-needed Narcan to the most vulnerable members of our communities.
