NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Feb. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- United Mission for Non-Profits of America (UMNPA), a registered 501(c)(3) public charity based in Southern California, proudly announced today that it has opened a new assisted living home in Anaheim, CA to help Veterans transition to civilian life with the honor, dignity, respect and support they have rightfully earned and richly deserve.
In addition to offering Veterans a safe and stable living environment, UMNPA's new 10-bed facility, which is located at 10784 Harcourt Avenue in Anaheim, CA, offers vocational rehabilitation programs and counseling services. UMNPA staff and volunteers also work closely with representatives from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to help Veterans receive much-needed assistance, such as HUD-VASH vouchers and access to the Providers Grant and Per Diem Program.
"Since launching in 2009, we remain dedicated to providing resources and tools to members of the military community, who often do not get the recognition, respect and resources they need," commented Indigo Allendorf, UMNPA's Executive Director.
