(Pink Sheets: UMAX) – UMAX announced last week the execution of agreements whereby Kathryn Gavin will become the controlling shareholder of the Company, and the subsequent naming of Ms. Gavin as its new Chief Executive Officer. This transaction is still anticipated to be closed on or before December 31, 2018.
Upon closing, UMAX plans on bringing on additional management and starting the process of changing the business direction of the Company. UMAX plans on locating and acquiring assets in the Cannabidiol (commonly referred to as CBD) industry. As stated by our new CEO, Kathryn Gavin,…"UMAX will be looking for opportunities from brown earth to the blue-sky with regards to the processing, development, and sale of legal, non-psychoactive Cannabidiol products to the public. We plan on investigating opportunities from the initial harvesting and processing of hemp biomass to the development and/or acquisition of Cannabidiol product lines by means of prospective acquisitions. It is our eventual goal to become an industrial scale producer of THC-free full spectrum Cannabidiol oil, broad spectrum Cannabidiol Isolate, and water-soluble Cannabidiol.
