Two Little Hands Productions, Creators of Popular Children's TV Series Signing Time, Debuts Second Season at This Year's Toy Fair 2008

SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 11 Two Little Hands Productions --creators of the popular Signing Time! series and the hit public televisionshow designed to teach babies, toddlers and young children to communicateusing American Sign Language (ASL) -- will debut its second season at thisyear's Toy Fair 2008 in New York City on February 17-20th.

Like the original, series two will continue building children's ASLvocabulary with many new signs. In addition to its signature clever animationand new original songs from co-founder Rachel Coleman, Signing Time series twoincludes several new learning modules that not only put children's ASLvocabulary to work but enhance their overall learning, communication,self-confidence, and verbal skills.

The Toy Fair, held at the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center in New YorkCity, holds educational seminars focused on successful business practices,growth and development in the toy industry.

Signing Time offers an unparalleled multi-sensory approach to learningthrough three senses: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Signing Time reacheschildren with diverse learning styles and abilities by encouraging interactionthrough signing, singing, speaking, and dancing. Featuring Rachel Coleman, herdaughter Leah -- who is deaf -- along with Alex (Leah's cousin, who can hear)and their animated pet frog Hopkins, the Signing Time series teaches hundredsof ASL vocabulary-building signs that are useful in daily life.

As early as nine months, babies and toddlers can learn to communicatethrough signs and research shows that babies who learn to sign may experiencereduced frustrations and fewer tantrums, enhanced cognitive development andincreased IQ scores, increased bonding with parents, increased interest inbooks, and quicker development of speaking, spelling and reading skills.
