COVINGTON, La., Feb. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Trace Senior Living's Executive Chef Keith Kornfeld, in conjunction with Fireman/Chef Mike Whodat Gowland and Restoration Church, will be hosting a tornado relief charity event in East NOLA at 7743 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126 on Saturday, February 11, 2017.
The event starts at 9:00 A.M. and food service will begin at 11:00 A.M. They will be cooking up and serving Pulled Pork Sliders and Jambalaya to all tornado victims, first responders and community members that have been working tirelessly since this disaster occurred to rescue, save and protect their fellow residents, family members and friends.
Volunteers and donations are welcome. Please no cash donations, but non-perishable items, water, clothing, blankets, and personal hygiene items are welcomed donations. For more information please call 985-241-4310.
