Dr. Setum has over 15 years of experience in cardiovascular research inthe medical device industry. She has a Ph.D. from the University ofMinnesota, holds several medical device patents and has published extensivelyin the areas of cardiologic, peripheral and neurovascular applications forinterventional medical devices. Dr. Setum was previously Vice President ofClinical and Medical Affairs at Possis Medical, Inc., where for 12 years shesupervised preclinical and clinical research in catheter-based thrombectomy(removal of intravascular blood clots).
