This event, held in loving memory of David Shakiban, z'l, will focus on mental health, challenging outdated views and the life-limiting stigmas attached to having a mental health problem. A raffle and silent auction will take place during the reception.

WHAT: Women's Community Luncheon: The second annual Women's Community Luncheon convenes an empowered group of women in the San Fernando Valley. This year's luncheon will benefit mental health services at Sheba Medical Center, Tel HaShomer, recently named by Newsweek as one of the top 10 hospitals in the world.
Honoree: Dr. Susan Bookheimer, Ph.D. A clinical neuropsychologist and professor-in-residence in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and Department of Psychology, Dr. Bookheimer specializes in functional brain imaging with PET and functional MRI. Her work centers on the organization of language and memory in the brain, both in healthy adults and children and in neurologic conditions and developmental disorders.
