Friends of Sheba Medical Center is hosting its annual Women of Achievement Luncheon on Thursday, April 4th in Los Angeles and is inviting members of the media to attend. The luncheon will benefit Israel's first pediatric laser burn center at Sheba Medical Center.

Honorees: Rosalie Zalis, 2019 Women of Achievement Award Highly successful in business, politics and education, Zalis has used her leadership roles to support Israel, the Jewish people and the global work of Sheba Medical Center.

Yafa Hakim, 2019 Marjorie Pressman Legacy Award A successful businesswoman and philanthropist of Iranian descent, Hakim has been instrumental in building relationships between Sheba Medical Center and the Persian Jewish community.

This year's luncheon will support the first pediatric laser center in all of Israel. As part of Sheba Medical Center's National Burn Center, this state-of-the-art facility will transform the lives of children suffering from severe burns by treating their painful scars with painless, groundbreaking pediatric laser technology.

The Friends of Sheba Medical Center Women of Achievement Luncheon is hosted by Luncheon Chairs Judy Shapiro and Lynn Ziman, along with Décor Chair Beverly Cohen and Honorary Chair Carrie Sherman.
