This awards program, which began in 2011, is to honor those that are making a significant impact on the quality of life and health care in Mississippi and around our nation. Their acts of heroism represent a display of dedication to the excellence in the area of expertise beyond the scope of their daily jobs. Through their commitment to their profession and their community, they serve as an inspiration to others to improve the quality of healthcare and discover new ways to assist those in need. A native Mississippian, Don began his career with one of our nation's top Fortune 100 companies, where, as a young man, he learned a great deal from his peers and was recognized as a customer focused team leader. A decade later, Don moved to the Jackson area to work for one of Mississippi's leading long-term care companies. He also assisted pharmaceutical companies, software companies and healthcare facilities by working as strategic partners on the evolution of electronic care nationally. His time working with these companies allowed him to grow; learning that creativity, a focus on keeping your commitments and customer service should be the cornerstone of any business wishing to compete in a national marketplace within this sector of Health and Life Sciences.

Recently, Think Anew expanded to Tampa, Florida where Don received the prestigious Florida Business Ambassador Award from then Governor Rick Scott.
"You know, I've been around these sweet people all my life. My mom was a caregiver and I remember her coming home from work, many times after a double, only to collapse in the chair and soak her feet. She almost always had the time however, to teach me about her passion, pride and love for her teammates, her workplace, and the elderly they cared for.
