WATERBURY, Conn., May 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Therap's new series of courses on Health Tracking include introductory
The new Training Academy Health Tracking series is available to Therap users, including caregivers and other service professionals, providing supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and other Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS). The Health Tracking course series will provide an effective and consistent quality learning tool for new staff familiarizing themselves with the electronic documentation system. Support professionals, Registered Nurses, LPNs and QIDPs learn how to track health information such as blood glucose, seizure episodes, vitals and intake and elimination. Users are able to generate comprehensive reports that extract information from various health tracking forms with key information such as allergies, dietary guidelines and medical diagnoses.
With the health tracking series, Therap launches a new training format aimed at engaging users using interactive, easy-to-follow instructions that is on-demand and available to re-take as often as desired.
With agency training costs, staffing coverage and staff travel to and from training locations in mind, Therap's new course structure offers the same training content and objectives users would find at agency new hire training or Therap regional conferences, but accommodating the user's work schedule, at their convenience from work sites across the community. Therap's Training Academy now offers over 80 self paced, on-demand courses since its launch in 2015. In addition to the health tracking series, additional course topics include incident reporting, employment, demographics, individual support plans, attendance, person centered documentation, and behavior tracking, among others.
